Software
The benefits that come with a great hardware platform can often times be offset by a cumbersome, unstable or difficult to use software operating system. At RTA we not only manufacture Raman instruments, but we use them actively in developing new products and applications. We understand the importance of having a software platform that is flexible, powerful and easy to use.
RTA offers the following software packages to meet your spectroscopy needs
- Raman VISTA - general spectral analysis, plotting, and data import/export
- FTR - general purpose collection software
- RamanID - real-time software to collect data and perform library searches
- ChemID - offline software to perform library search and determine mixture analysis
- S-Quant - simple least-squares regression software for mixture analysis
In addition to our standard software, RTA is capable customizing software to meet your needs. Specific examples include:
- Fuel Analysis - this is a comprehensive package that is used in our Portable Fuel Analyzer which identifies fuel type (PCA/SIMCA), runs quantitative (PLS) models to determine fuel properties, and determines if fuels have contaminants.
- Epoxy Curing - this package is used for determine endpoints for epoxy curing and also to qualify epoxy starting materials.
Real-Time Analyzers has developed software platforms designed to meet the requirements of a wide-variety of users and settings. Using LabVIEW (National Instruments www.ni.com/labview/ ) as the design environment, we provide packages for the following types of use:
- Analytical Research and Development
- Academic Teaching/Research
- Process Monitoring/Control
- Materials Identification/Confirmation
- Physical Property Determinations (Chemometrics)
- Reaction Monitoring/Kinetics
- HAZMAT/First Responder Rapid Identification
