SERS Libraries
Real-Time Analyzers has been measuring SERS of various chemicals and biochemicals for more than a decade and we have amassed a spectral library of over 500 compounds (150 shown below). It includes numerous drugs and many metabolites, biochemicals, pesticides, chemical agents and hydrolysis products, explosives, dyes, and general chemicals. This library is now available for purchase in electronic form for you to use.
Specifications
The library spectra were collected on a FT-Raman spectrometer and 785 nm laser excitation. This provides even x-axis spacing which makes library transfer more reliable. FT spectrometers also provide better line shapes. All the spectra are stored in Thermo GRAMS SPC format for easy import into other spectrscopy packages. The library was collected on RTA's patented sol-gel SERS substrates (Vials or Capilliaries) and with gold, silver, (or both) types of nanoparticles.
