Portable Raman Analyzers

Real-Time Analyzers offers several portable Raman analyzers that can be run with an embedded computer an or an external laptop.  At the heart of of each system is a rugged FT-Raman interferometer that provides constant spectral resolution throughout the spectrum and precise wavelength assignment of detected peaks which is necessary for accurate library searches or quantitative measurements using chemometrics.   Designed to meet military specifications the systems will accommodate the most demanding field conditions of vibration, temperature, and shock.  The portable systems are light weight and will operate reliably even in adverse weather conditions.  All systems incorporate an excitation laser emitting at 1064 nm which offers the highest level of fluorescence avoidance for the greatest flexibility in sampling.

Portable Fuel Analyzer (PFA)

The Portable Fuel Analyzer is a self-contained system that is capable of identifying unknown fuel types (gasoline, diesel, jet fuel) and providing associated properties of the fuel (e.g. density, ) to determine if the fuel is within specification and suitable for for use.  In addition to the standard properties of fuels, the analyzer is also capable of measuring specific additives in the fuel.

Portable SERS Analyzer (PSA)

The portable SERS analyzer is the first commercially available product that combines a portable Raman instrument with RTA's patented SERS vials.  The Instrument has been designed and optimized for trace chemical analysis.  In addition to SERS, the instrument also provides the capability to perform normal Raman measurements of unknown liquids and solids.

Portable Raman Analyzer (PRA)

The Portable Raman Analyzer with RamanID is designed for use by first responders, homeland security, military, law enforcement and forensic chemistry personnel.  Library databases allow the identification of virtually any chemical.
